Time to start lofting!
The expression "ducks in a row" comes from the days engineers or drafters would use drafting boards. A "duck" is a lead object that is used to hold down a flexible template. It's called a "duck" because it resembles the body of a duck.
When all the ducks are in a row, it's time to draw the curve ... lofting.
