I would, and HAVE given up my dreams for my children. But it did not make them a success because I did. They made themselves a success through hard work, discipline and the values and morals I instilled in them as I was raising them. I could have still lived my dreams and not cost them their future at all.

Nope, what kid deserves a miserable parent? Kids will usually be successful if they have a happy home life anyway.

No. Everyone needs to follow a dream. It is part of what defines them. I have kids and love them but I still say no. No one should lose their individuality for anyone.

I would not give up my dreams. Your kids are going to learn by your example and if you want to teach them to dream big you yourself have to have dreams of your own.
