It is fairly certain that babies in the womb hear things, and there is evidence that babies dream in utero. Of course, there's no light to see, they don't breathe, the temperature is fairly constant, and the liquid environment equalizes the pressure, so there's not much to feel. If you could remember back that far, the memories would be much different than the ones after we were born.

You couldn't remember your conception, because a sperm and an egg, or a fertilized egg ,do not have a brain to form memories with.
And due to the lack of brain development and maturity, it would also be practically impossible for someone to remember the womb or their birth.
Most children do not begin building concrete, permanent memories until they are 2-3 years old.

you cannot remember your conception. you have no brain at that point. you are a single cell joining with another single cell. and given that nearly everyone pretty much has no memory before being a toddler, the chances of retaining memory from being in utero are slim to none. i would say it was a dream or a conglomeration of things you have seen on movies/television.

You have extremely short term memory until you're at least 6 months old.
