I don't think it'll fly unless they tell the story honestly without whitewashing it to make Sonny and Carly look like good parents. They've gone there a few times already -- the pillow-smothering Daddy thing you mentioned, plus he tried to have one of Sonny's minions kill Lorenzo back when Carly was married to him. Each time, though, they pulled back because the writers are afraid to admit what that lifestyle would do to a child, and more to a point, what parents like Sonny and Carly would do to a child. The kid is undeniably screwed up, it's undeniably their fault, and the fallout from that would make really good soap if they do it right. Unfortunately, that would mean acknowledging that the choices Carly and Sonny have made put their children in danger and destroyed their sense of right and wrong. The writers' insistance that mobsters are good people ruins any chance the viewers have of seeing a good story involving Michael, SORAS'd or not, any time soon.
If Michael had been aged, though, or maybe even as he is, I think he'd be a great candidate for the Text-Message Killer. Who has more motive to go on a murdering spree than a child who grew up watching his father and uncle kill people for a living and was even ordering hits himself by age 9? It would be perfect, which is why it'll never happen.

As Michael ages maybe the writers' will have him become more interested in the mob lifestyle. At the age he is now maybe he's just becoming more curious about what Sonny really does for a living. I think he'll eventually take over the business, who knows, maybe we're looking at the future mob boss of Port Charles. I definately think he'll be a troubled teenager, he's been through so much already.

I think the idea of Michael being a schoolyard bully is a good way to go...I really dont like the rapid aging done on soaps and I kind of like the actor who plays Michael. I find it irritating to get used to an actor or actress and have them replaced overnight.

UGH no!! I used to love the sweet innocent Michael, but now he's turning into a mini-Sonny! It's horrible. I hope Carly can change his mind about being a mobster.
And they probably will age him like they did with LuLu.

Frankly, I've been sick of Dylan Cash's acting for years, so I assume Guza will try this just to irritate me. ;)
If they do this as a storyline, I see it falling pretty flat. How interesting is it supposed to be if a 13 year old kid starts going around killing people and how many people will enjoy it? If this was HBO, I'd probably watch it, but since it's a daytime soap opera, I hope it's just a weird idea and that it stays that way.

Well I think they will eventually have too. I mean theres always going to be bad guys on soaps and the obvious choices are the kids to carry on the rivalry's and such.
Seems right to me. Sonny has two sons, Good son evil son... I think that might happen. History in soaps says it could. =}

ya know what I cannot tell you how many times I wish he was killed when he fell into that well or when he was kidnapped by AJ and who ever kidnapped him Morgan and Christina ( cannot remember who that was) he should spend more time with the Q's Alice will keep him in line!
This is what I see in his immediate future boarding school in the swiss alps for one year and when he comes back in 09 he will be 19 and Morgan still 4

I think down the road something will happen that will make Michael hate Sonny. Just a hunch but I think if & when they age him he's going to be more Quatermaine, than gangster.

He is way too young for that kind of stuff. They need to wait several years before doing something like that with his character.
In the real world, real kids would pick up on that, and that would not be a good role model for them. Let the kid have some innocence left, if he has any left!!!!!

They'll likely keep going back and forth with this subject until his character is old enough to be in a profession.
