just tell her when she is not stressed or anything, sit with her and tell her. mom i need to talk to you about girl stuff. that will get attention right away, then, tell her that you are growing and you would think it would be best if she could go with you to pick out bras at least like 2 or three, that way she can tell you how they are supposed to fit, and you can spend some time with her. it is not a big deal, i was shy about asking too but when i did i felt closer to my mom. gotta do it. and your period is not crazy weird, it is your first year on it, it will take a while for your body to adapt to puberty but just give it time and be prepared with extra panties in your back pack and travel size wipes, so you can avoid those accidents. good luck

A "normal" cycle is considered every 28 days, with a give or take of about 10 days either way. Every two weeks has got to be a pain in the butt. Talk to your doctor about it, and they might prescribe you bitrh control to get your cycles predictable. It also can make your periods lighter and cut abck on the severity of PMS. And it's never a bad idea at your age to take that anyway:)
Your mom should have noticed you needed bras... maybe she's in denial that her baby is growing up :) Just tell her that your bras aren't fitting comfortably and you need some new ones. If you go to a department store in the mall, they will do a fitting for you and make sure you get exactly the right size you need without mom trying to keep you in something that might be too small

yeah if u've been having it for less than a year it will still be irregular. i've had mine for 2 years now and its still irregular. um to tell ur mom that you want a bra just be like "my training bras really dont fit me anymore, do you think maybe i should get some real ones?" it might seem weird to ask her at first but u never know unless you try.

that abnormal period sounds normal- I would try to feel comfortable talking to your mom about your bras, even if its pointing out how big your boobs are getting and that your bras arent growing with your boobs,so you need new ones! that way you can jokingly say it so its not so serious and maybe a little less uncomfortable for you. Bummer you cant feel like you can talk to her but maybe this will be a good start! Good luck!

Yes, that is very normal. In the first couple years of having a period, it will be irregular. Regarding your mom, just tell her. Don't be embarrassed. Remember she probably had to go through the very same thing.

tell her to take you to the doc to see if they can put you on birth control pills to regulate your period, and tell her that you have had those training bras for a while and think you need some real bras! I used to always talk to my mom when we were driving in the car...hope that helps!

When women are younger and first start having their periods, they are irregular. it is normal. Just tell your mom you need a new bra. She went through puberty when she was younger, and understands.
