Psychedelic drugs enhance the FEELING of possessing certain skills, but they actually do not enhance these skills. They enhance the illusion you have of yourself and because it disengages certain perceptions which allows you to over-stretch your physical features. For example, you will have more strength because you will not feel the pain of straining your muscles - until after the effect of the drug, then you will feel terrible and spent.

Psychedelic drugs do nothing to enhance what aspects you lack otherwise, rather they distort reality. While in this drug induced stupor the distortion you experience may allow you to pretend to be something you are not, i.e. more outgoing, life of the party, etc you can summon up these traits as your fear may be paralyzed allowing you to act the part. To enhance something means to make better what you already have so to say these drugs enhance what aspects you lack otherwise would be incorrect.

I have tried them all many, many times. I enjoyed it but I never noticed anything about me becomming enhanced. I mean I saw some reall cool halucinations, but really they were just distortions of things I saw. A real halucination is much more intese and usually not fun at all. It does seem sometimes that colors are brighter and more intense and if you trip in the winter and go check out christmas lights it is really fun. I was never able to read minds, divine the secrets of the universe, or see God if that is what you mean.
