What do you think about Brazil?
I am brasilian and i would like know if the american people like Brazil.
In the Brazil, when somebody talk about USA, we thinking in Bush, in war, in money...

I think of a people that despite of it's adversity insist on being happy. A people that struggle, that knows how to live and love. That does not take life too seriously because they know that nobody get out alive anyway. They know the importance of working to live not living to work. They value diversity, the new generation has a higher education level than the one before.
Specially now days, it's a country that no longer has to spend money buying foreign oil. that is auto-sufficient, that export alternative fuel technology. that is not afraid of admitting that is not perfect but does it's best within it's limitations to improve. A country that despite the criticism that receives about it's deforestation, is the only country in the world that still has a sizable forest.
I see beauty within the eyes of the simple folk that has barely anything for themselves but will thing nothing of extending their food and shelter to strangers. A hospitable, beautiful, happy, people. That rather make music, player soccer and enjoy life than wage wars.
That's why I am thank God everyday for being Brazilian. :>)

I imagine Brazil as beautiful tropical paradise... Please understand just because we love our country, and support our people who are in harms way, that does not mean that our GOVERNMENT represents what we honestly believe...Basically, most people believe what they TELL us, and eventually you figure out what they purport as fact is not necessarily true... I am just an ordinary guy who respects other people and cultures...I have no agenda to subvert your government or your way of life... I embrace it, regardless of what you may think of us.. I am not an elite rich American, just a guy who works hard to make ends meet... I am happy to give respect to ANYONE who wishes to return it.. I am sick of all the negative image Americans get, but I understand how it is generated.. You think our government truly represents what the average American thinks...This is not the case...Our government does not represent our wishes, and the average American really has no input into international policy, believe me.. If I could wish one wish to come true, I would wish everyone in the world could connect with the ordinary people in other countries and honestly have an opinion forum..clear the air... We do not hate you, our governments make it seem that way... I do NOT wish ill will towards ANYONE, regardless of where they are from... I would love to visit Brazil, and hope that you are able to see through all the governmental red-tape, and realize we ( the American people ) want the same thing as you... Peace, prosperity, and a better future for our children... Lets start a movement... Lets all try to commit to talk to people from other countries that we are suspect of, and see if we can find common ground amongst our selves, without governmental intervention... We will find out just how much we actually have in common... Actually, you started it...Lets see where it goes from here...

I am also brazilian as well as paraguayan. I love brazil and most people I know think its a cool country. Brazil is beautiful and it has the most beautiful beaches i have ever been to. The people are great too.

Honestly, the first thing that comes to mind is Brazil nuts, bikini waxes and the Rain forest..........I really don't know all that much about Brazil as a country, or its culture.

when guys think of brazil they think of girls and bikinis
i think of brazilian waxes, beaches and ronaldinho although he plays in barcelona spain and other brazilian footballers
