I have a really pretty pair of flat velvet (or velvet like) shoes with a small block heel in u.k size three. I really want to wear them to the office but they're a teeny bit too loose and keep slipping down my heel when I walk, even if I wear thick tights. I probably wont find another pair in a smaller size. I dont think theyre 'too big' anyway- theyre just not tight enough. Have you any ideas how I can adjust them so that they stay on my feet when I walk?

Insoles, you can get them from any Clarks shoe shop. They also sell suede back which also stop them from slipping.

They sell a pad like thing that glues to the back of the heel of your shoe

Get some cushion insoles. The adhesive ones you stick on your footwear. they're meant to make your shoe greater well-off yet in addition they lead them to a sprint snugger (if that's a be conscious).

Maybe putting talc in your shoes and it also stops flats from smelling bad (which they usually do)
