Skin and gut him like you would a rabbit, remove head and split length ways like a lobster.
Marinade in Brandy and vegable oil for 30+ minutes and flambe until the skin turns a nice golden brown.
Place in a covered baking dish and pour over the rest of the marinade, cook on a slow heat until he is moist and tender.
Check with the Fyre Dog to ensure it is safely cooked and share with a friend.
I have heard that it is a rather gamey meat and a quarter is enough for the average person.

Deep fried and then run over by a steam roller for tenderization; or vice versa, but always start with the freshest live Yamster.

I find that you should bake them like you would a ham-at 325, and remember to baste occasionally. I wouldn't marinate, but adding a bit of brown sugar and pineapple really spices things up.

Don't bother heating up the oven - just microwave him for three minutes on high. Scrape off the inside of the microwave (after the explosion) & serve.

450 for 15 minutes, I don't marinade it. I like it plain and crispy

I set it to BR. Doesn't that mean baked right? Marinade? No. Serenade?
