You are on the top end of their average score spectrum, which looks very good to the admissions office. It is good you are in extra curriculars, here are some tips for acceptance:
Visit the campus, make sure you register your visit and take an official campus tour
Write a killer essay, make it 500 to 750 words, colleges like that best
Plug your name. This means go to college fairs and sign up for mailings, sign up for mailings when you visit, do anything to make their file on you fat and full of your name and test scores.

Since the deadline is pretty much in one/two days; you can't do much to change your situation. Your SAT is basically a knit below the 75th percentile, which is certainly respectable. With a solid GPA; assuming you have good essays and recommendations, you would be a match candidate for NYU, meaning you have good chances of admission (and you fit the typical NYU student profile in terms of scores).
Good luck

Well, since they obviously changed the SATs alot, I have no clue. I thought the highest you could get was a 1600, 800 on each portion.
And no one can tell you what your chances are of getting into a college except the admissions people. Just submit your application like everyone else and make sure you have one heck of an essay and references.

I did rubbish in school, yet i am nearly finished doing my honours degree ;)
My I.Q is 130 and i was told i was a failure in high school. I then couldn't get into Sixth Form. So i went to college and worked hard.
Now i am a Consultant (my field is ranked 6 or 7th best job in the U.K) my wage is pretty nice, way beyond living comfortable too :)
My advice don't rely on academia too much, it's effort and personal skills. I know i have proof of this.
I matured at the end of school and got on with working hard. If you lost your brain for like a year or two or got a GPA of 1.00, keep trying you will make it into any college eventually. Many people don't have persistancy, yet they claim it in their C.V, yet when they get turned down they don't apply again....
I am a perfect example of bad student now a remarkable student on a very good job ranked up with doctors :) Eventually i will earn 100k (pound sterling) with experience and as i age alot and work alot harder.
Yet academically, when i was young i was apparently stupid....proved them wrong ;)

I used to furnish infinite opportunities and sweetness why i became continually getting stepped on and used. I infrequently supply something greater beneficial than a 2d probability except you're an exceedingly close and depended on confidant.

Sure, you list your good qualities, but what about any bad qualities that might end up holding you back?
