I have no favorite team in the NFL. But I have some players that I think are entertaining. I do not see how these Patriots are not the best ever. They will have won more games, league and post-season, and no one else has done that. The league is much stronger than it was in the 90's and 80's so the all win streak is more meaningful. Most will deny in favor of their own teams, but an objective analysis is that they are the best, not just because they are not your favorites.

Let's see how they perform in the playoffs. If they can do better than the 1985 Bears and 1989 which dominated in the postseason, they will be the best ever.
Besides that, a great season is not enough to call somebody the best ever at his position.
When talking about the best QB, it's Montana, Unitas (in no particular order) and the rest.
Rice is the only player that is arguably the best to play his position. Unless Moss can still put 1200 yards at 40 years old, he will be considered better than Jerry Rice.

All the Super Bowl win proves is that they would be the best team of 2007. Don't waste your breath comparing them to other era teams. There is no objectively correct way to compare. Let the talking heads on TV and radio argue about it.... they will never prove it one way or another, but they will talk about it because it sells advertising. Definitely the 2007 Patriots could beat the 1972 Dolphins. The 1972 Dolphins are all old farts.

The Pats are the best team in the history of the NFL. Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time. Moss is good, but one season doesn't make him the greatest ever.

No. cuz even if they are the best team in NFL history so far,(which they're not) it's arrorgant to think that in the future of the NFL, no team will be as good or better than the '07 Patriots. Plus the best team ever needs better than an ok running game.

football is a team sport,so if the offensive line doesn't do their job and the receiver does'nt run the right route,no!If they do and the qb and wr gives their offensive line credit,they would be on top of my list over Manning and Harrison.16 and 0 is a
great accomplishment,congratulations.Beside all of that, winning the superbowl is not that important,just keep up the stats and give the other team the credit they deserve.

Hard to say best ever - and I don't think you can say a player is the best ever based on one season.
Brady will go down as one of the best ever regardless of what happens over the next month.
Moss will be considered good, but those years he floundered in Oakland and the last couple in Minnesota will prevent him from being considered the best.
As far as the best team ever? Who knows. Those things will always be debated.

They were caught cheating red-handed at the beginning of the season. A legitimate sport cannot hold a cheater up as its proudest achievement.

In ability, I say yes. But I've seen some of their interviews, and they seem like arrogant jerks. If you count good sportsmanship as part of being a good team, then they would never be close to being the best team ever.
The same could be said of the '72 Miami Dolphins.

They couldn't hold Terry and the Steelers jock strap.
In the 70's Moss would of been toast in the first 2 minutes, he would of been put out of the game.
Redskins 1972 team was better...don't you understand ..men played the game men.
