hot water copper pipes make some noise like dripping water or ticking?i just had a new one installed.suppose to be by a reputable dealer locally here.

If the ticking happens right when you turn on the heat, but then goes away after a few minutes, that's normal. Its the pipes expanding from the heat. If the tapping doesn't go away, you have air in the system that needs to be bled out.

The 'ticking` noise is the pipes moving under
thermal expansion and contraction.
It's quite normal.

The sound you hear is the pipes expanding and contracting due to the heat

Yep, you also have an expansion cylinder that makes a little noise also.

yap, you might have to bleed some air out of the lines
