Yes it does...you're somewhat "low man on the totem pole" again. After being among the older group in junior high, you are now among the younger group in high school.

Work hard, your grades count more for the future. Don't sweat the small stuff.

What do you mean by that?

Part of it is if you had a Middle School system or not. If you have Middle School the things that change include parking for students and 16 year olds with cars, proms, real football games, real basketball games and some of the classes get harder like Calculus and Physics.

If yu DON'T have a middle school it will be even more drastic.

Multiple buildings, no real home room (it's a 15 minute twice a day joke), different teacher for every class, PE with showers.

High School is a place that you begin focusing on your adult life (career, family etc.) Friendships do change and your priority shifts from less trivial to more specific...High School is a place of lasting memories and defining moments. You should be able to reflect on the good times and the times that stretched you and made you grow as an individual...enjoy it while you can because it will be gone before you know it and you'll be one of the ones that is throwing your cap into the air awaiting the next big journey in your walk of life!

Not exactly

you do a lot of times get more distant from close friends u had in junior high...but u will still see eachother in the halls sometimes...its not to bad.

But pay attention because in highschool you could try very hard and still fail and not know how u failed...or some people..work comes easy

let highschool be your own expierence not an original expected trip :]

good luck!

Somewhat. Things obviously change because you are going through puberty and you will make new friends in high school. It is definitely a bigger environment in terms of academics, people, etc. However, you should be fine entering high school. You just need to stay true to yourself, friends, and family.

the sole factor you may anticipate is that issues will substitute. That stated, people regularly save many of their acquaintances that they make throughout the time of center college. I even have an exceedingly close buddy that I first met in center college. I additionally made a existence long buddy in intense college. So do no longer concern plenty approximately it, confident intense college is distinctive, once you're a freshman you experience like a baby in among many youthful adults, yet for a lot of people intense college could nicely be a brilliant experience. paintings no longer easy, play no longer easy and you will do effective. between the main memorable days of my existence became senior ditch day and tubing down the salt river with my classification. intense college became no longer easy for me, yet there have been many mind-blowing factors too.

Not everything, but some things. The teachers tend to expect a bit more out of you, both with maturity, and with your work getting in on time, good quality, etc. Don't worry, it will work out great. :-)
