I don't think it's chauvanistic (sp?) to be uncomfortable in that situation. I'd be incredibly embarassed if i were you. Just ask for another doctor.

Oh god,
"She told me to turn my head and cough while holding my testes and I got a RAGING HARD ON for no reason. I did think she was attractive but all the sudden it was like all the blood in my body went straight to the head - READY FOR ACTION."
That doesn't sound to good.. try masturbating just before you go to the doctors.

Well, this does happen to males. We just ignore it. It can be an involuntary response to stimuli that you can't control and it does not make you perverted. I do suggest that if you are uncomfortable then you should switch to a male doctor. I would be concerned that you would be too embarressed to open with this female doc if you had specific medical questions. Trust me its okay, I go to a female Gyn and I prefer it. It is all about preference and comfort.

Dude she is a doctor she expects that some dudes will react like you did it is no big deal for her she is a professional and looks at your unit as a doctor nothing else. Remember to put on clean underware and dont think about it. Actually aplogize make fun of the woodie " sorry about that "

Look at it this way, it's better that you got a hard-on with a female doc than a male doc. It happened, get over it. I'm sure that you weren't the first male to react. As long as you didn't try to use it you did nothing wrong and neither did she.

Next time you go to the doc request a male if it bother's you.
My brother has a female Doc and she wanted to check his prostate inserting finger into the rectum. He wasn't too thrilled about it. Then she said my fingers are smaller than a male doc so he let her do it.

She's a doctor, she understands. But if you feel that uncomfortable having a female doctor, then ask her to refer you to male. She won't be insulted.

sorry, i dont' like dudes touchin my areas, i'd rather have a chick do the exam. What do you have to be embarred about, you're a dude, you have dude parts, you have what you have, just be who you are and act like yourself. If the doctor is a good doctor, then there should be nothing sexual about your visit.
