Yes, Star Trek is Better, In a war between the Federation and the Empire, The Empire would lose hands down, simply because the Empire Does Not have Transporter Technology, and the sensors and scanners would easily be able to determine the shield frequency in order to beam a photon Torpedo Directly into Their power core, Game over

It all depends as to what you like. I love them both.
Star Wars is a lot like an old cowboy and Indian movie. You don't have to think, just enjoy.
Star Trek, for the most part is more sophisticated, takes a bit of thought to understand.
