Having now had an iMac for 8 months, I can definitely say Mac. Without a doubt. They look sexier too!

All these dumb reason people buy a Mac are beyond me
"good build quality" - right...so does the PC that i built myself, except that my video card isn't soldered to the case and the motherboard.
"they look better" - opinion...and i think white is a gross color for a computer...makes it look weak...but mac's are so it fits lol
'they don't crash" - my PC hasn't either, and i've had it for 6 months
Macs are for 2 groups of people...and that's it.
1. Anyone that works with an art, publishing or music related software...(job related)
2. People who are too stupid to use a computer without screwing something up or getting viruses...so using a Mac is like using a condom to them lol...keeps all the bad things from happening, but you don't get the full experience

Mac all the way. If you need yo use Windows, you can do that on a Mac, but not the other way around.
Also, I'm a middle-income guy, so I guess that theory is wrong. Besides, rich people probably don't use Macs... they probably just hire someone to use the computer for them.

silly question pc's all the way.
don't get me wrong if i was rich i'd buy a mac and put it in the corner cus it looks kinda cool. i wouldn't switch it on though.
pc's do more. they are more powerful too. but the bottom line is they DO MORE.
you can't do anything on a mac better than you could do on a pc. except maybe synchronise their crappy ipods when they decide not to work properly.

I recently bought a Macbook Pro after years of using pc's and Macs are better. They have much better build quality, they look better, they dont crash, they are simple to use once you get used to them and if you really want to, you can run windows on them as well.
The downside is the cost

PC if you want to be able to use virtually any software out there, plus if you need cheap parts or repairs. Mac only the best if you are into publishing

Mac, no comparison. Microsoft is horrible. I have less issues with my Mac. It's much more user friendly.
