olivia.... makes me think of olivia newton john or olives, I don't like olives, they seem like they have an off color don't they, and those pits... tooth breaking material that is... are you pale in complexion, do you tan well? you don't have a giant pit in the middle of your body do you? Well in ways the stomach is a pit... what if we made your nickname livia? that would be fun, kind of sounds like the name of a middle eastern country... it would be fun if you went on vacation only to bolivia, that would make the answer to "where is olivia?" funny for a couple of weeks each year. I wonder if olives are a cash crop in bolivia or if olivia newton john ever sang there and perhaps had a two olive martini after the performance and your parents were in attendance and then, and then, the perfect name for you was born.

those were rhetorical questions, meant to be funny, not answered.

I love Olivia. I always wanted to name my daughter that. Too bad it's on the top 10 baby names list right now. There's gonna be a lotta little ones with that name!

I love the name Olivia. The hubby and I considered naming our baby Olivia if it is a girl, but there are just way too many Olivia's where we live. We both work in schools and it is typical to have 3-4 Olivias in one class.

Olivia is a classic, very sophisticated name. I think it is not bad, but a little to common for me...I don't know I would go with Orli instead.
