To answer your question;
Mike Huckabee, is very articulate and intelligent. He speaks his mind and does not flip flop on the issues. He is one of the most charismatic candidates and probably the reason he has surged in popularity after each debate. I personally like him, and would love to see him as the VP nomination to balance someone like Rudy on the GOP ticket in 08.

i did no longer think of lots the two way of it, till the respond above wrote that Huckabee joked approximately "Paul is lifeless, Paul is lifeless". confident it must be a humorous tale approximately how dumb the placement is (that's what i think of, I certainly have greater motives to in comparison to Huckabee than this). in spite of if it could additionally be a double meaning, as an attack on Ron Paul on an identical time. i will could desire to verify this advert, to verify if that's as smarmy as some human beings say that's. EDIT: Hurrmmph... i do no longer see a situation with the circulate, it does look intentional in spite of if, the lights and framing of the shot, and circulate is only acceptable. that's a advantageous advert in spite of if, in spite of if it must be offensive to countless the different faiths, and faithless.

He is a Christian populist that does not just give lip service to helping the poor and down trodden of the world but actually believes that it is the Christian thing to do. He would be a Democrat were it not for the social issues, and it would be wonderfully ironic if he were to get the Republic nomination. The conservative majority that has been the dream of the republican power brokers since Reagan's election in 1980 would gone for good. Imagine an election where the money interest and wall street would back the Democrats as the party most sympathetic to their interest.

I think that people who are against Mike Huckabee may not have full knowledge of his stand on the issues. He has condemned the current Republican Administration for some of it's actions but has also agreed with others. I don't think he is a "hard-core" Republican which is why I like him and am voting for him if he makes the ticket.
If you aren't sure of his stand on issues, take a look at his "My Space" page or go to his web site: mikehuckabee.com
In my opinion, he is a breath of fresh air; and we need that.

There are things that I like about him, but I don't think he has a strong enough personality to win the election. Therefore, I hope he doesn't get the nomination. I think he would be a good VP candidate, though.

Yes--though that's not going to help him in th egenral election--in the unlikely event he gets the nomination.
Huckabee is a bigot--and that, if nothing else, willkill any chance he might have had o factually winning the election.
God is not mocked--certainly not by the likes of him.

I had a fairly favorable opinion of him until I read this quote by him "Illegal immigration is a chance for the U.S. to make up for slavery." Sounds suspiciously like a liberal to me.

I can't say that he hurt our state much as governor. On the other hand, I know he is pro-illegal, no matter what he is saying now. And his republican, pro corporation economics are the same as the others. So, I won't be voting for him.
