most of the time its because they are with someone else, and just wanted to see how far he could get or what they could get. maybe he decided the relationship would not work out, basing it on conversations he had with u. but things happen for the best, although we don't always understand it. we often times get our feelings hurt, thinking what went wrong, especially if we really liked the guy. but for whatever reason, and u may never know his reason, accept it, know that things do happen for a reason and maybe u shouldn't question it. maybe he was only interested in one thing, and when he didn't get it he decided he's move on. could be he has someone else too.

Because they are immature, and called man/child, not men. Real men can commit, do not play games and make you feel safe and secure in a relationship.

Boy/men children are on the road to maturity, but along the way stopped to play. If you date them, and allow them to remain children, life is a playground for them and hell for you. They can only grow through consequences, and by giving them honey, the bear will keep coming back.

Let them go free, grow up, and then when you find each other, love is grand.

As to not calling and not talking for no reason, this is not true. They have a reason, they just haven't' shared it with you. They are playing the field, seeing what you will put up with, and getting whatever they can with no effort on their part. They want all of the benefits of a woman in their life but no responsibilities. And when woman give them sex (benefits), they have no reason to grow up and play nice.

I think when we(men) meet someone we are always more into them but then that person has an annoying habit or something about them (that you don't know about) that we just don't like and we did not see in the beginning we are just like why waste my time trying to change this persons habit. They are not worth all of the effort. Sometimes relationships stop being fun when your not really getting what you want. Then it just becomes why waste my time trying to get what I want from this person when I can go elsewhere and maybe find someone better.

Well maybe because you didn't give in to having a relationship with him in the first place. Anyone would stop talking or contacting someone for many reasons but I would consider that either you were to clingy with him or you just kept giving them the cold shoulder. In other cases, because they may already found someone else or are married.

Men are nice to you for as long as it takes to get you into bed. So if you take the time to resist and agree to value each other enough to get to know each other and have fun together, then you have the foundation of something meaningful. When men get scared, they need to retreat and think, they might not understand this clearly themselves, but they need space, that's all. It is a mistake, then, when women don't understand this and run after them. It is a common pattern, and they can leave and not talk to you for months, and then finally miss you and realize they want to be with you.
don't respond by running after him, just be patient and us the time to date others and hang out with friends, have fun and relax, if he is meant to be with you he will come to his senses and return.

Because while they're on "the pursuit", they'll say anything they think you want to hear.
Sometimes keeping up the pretense of being a nice guy becomes too much trouble and they decide it's not worth their time and effort.

Why does the tide keep rushing to the shore? Why does the sun always set in the west? Why do birds fly south in the winter?

Don't mean to sound cynical or flip, but it's just their nature.

Yes it did have something to do with sex! He figured if he said he wanted a relationship, you'd be more willing to have sex with him. Then when that didn't work, he was off to try it on another girl.

Who knows...I've been married for 6 years and I still dunnow..... But, I can tell you this, don't put so much effort into it. The more independent and happy go lucky you are, the more attractive you become to men. Probably because men don't have much going on upstairs anyway.

Because their brains are equivalent to a rat running through a maze. Has no idea where they're going, what to do and the faster they run, the more confused they get.
