I dont mean babysitting but u had a employer and a interview. im 16 and still havent got one. is that pathtic.

My first job was when I was 14. It was at a small greasy spoon diner. I was a busboy/cashier/waiter/dishwasher/janitor. The only thing ol' Pinky (yes that really was the guy's name!) wouldn't let me do was cook. I don't know if it was out of fear of me burning myself, or if that was just his domain.
Don't feel bad about it though. The job only lasted three months. When school started he had to let me go because school got out at 3:35, and the diner closed at 4:30.
I didn't get another real job again until I was in college.
