you misery and total exhaustion in your life? Do you think it is worth it? Do you need it by any cost even if it is going to hurt the people around you and the ones you love? or do you leave it and forget for the general sake of being relaxed and to satisfy others' needs?

why would I pursue my dream?
Because it may bring me internal 'happiness' and joy. Or it may be my goal in life.

what do I need to pursue my dream?
A good body - good health, a sound mind, as much help from my family, friends and others in society and the world.

If in the process of pursuing my dream, I damage my health, sour all relations with family and friends, become mentally unstable, then logically, I am harming the very conditions I need to pursue my dream, and consequently, making the attainment of my dream even more difficult.

So as a sensible person, I would not over-extend myself in the pursuit of my 'dream'. Rather, I would try to enjoy the 'journey' and the process, and not care too much about the final result.

Only the very young and the unencumbered can chase their dreams, so go for it while you can. Chase it for a while, but keep in mind that life will need you to pursue the next paragraph of my answer. Devote a little time to do both if you can.

The rest of us gave up on our dreams when we got lassoed into one or two or all of the following:

1. stable jobs------------------- salary and wages
2. dwellings ie apartment, condo, house---mortgage
3. car, truck and vehicle...............loans
4. relationships & marriage-------------- ring
5. children..................................... self imposed life sentences.

If what I am doing will make me a better person, then I am willing to put forward a more improved lifestyle in my life. I will NOT do anything that will cause me or anyone else detriment in their lives. I wish you well.

Yes and no to every question you asked, because it is as simple as that. We all do have a freewill and our choice is affected by our ideal relative to what we embrace on a chain of personally conceived priorities. Peace
