When I heard your question the first thing I could think of was, if someone said to me "hey you have a really interesting face" I would probably punch them in their face coz interesting face pretty much means your not very good looking and you probably look a bit ugly. Having an interesting personality is the thing everyone should want. You could look like you fell from the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down but if you have an interesting personality people will genuinly be happy to be around you. Just being beautiful isn't gonig to help you in the long run and the sooner you realise that the better off you will be."Beauty fades, dumb is forever" Judith Sheindlin (the tv judge).

Now, that is why there are men and women who complain that they are always being told that they are so attractive, but they can't get a date. This is why some people see an attractive man dating a (so-called) unattractive woman, and wonder why he's with her. Really and truly, I'd rather have the personality because beauty can fade. Interesting face could be laugh lines that tell a story, a cocked eye, an off balance of the features. You tell me, how materialistic is it to want beauty over personality? The people of this world have plastic surgery to depend on. LoL

Definitely an interesting personality.
Yes, an interesting face will attract people and perhaps even persuade them to engage in small talk with you. But here's the thing: like everything in appearance, it grows old quickly. People become familiarized with it, then they leave because there is no longer anything tempting them to stay.
However, when one has an interesting personality, well, if it really is interesting, it will be hard to get used to. And, well, the people who were attracted by your face (and only your face) are probably quite shallow and only care about your looks. If someone is interested enough to stick around simply because of your personality, it won't be very easy to get them away, now will it?
