I have pcos and my period have been on from December 16th, I started spotting December 10th, I can't see my private dr. until tomorrow but I am really getting worried about it now, its not stopping nor getting any better, its bright red with alot of clots (Sorry to much information), I've already use 2 tampons and pad for the day, I am trying to conceive so I don't want any birth control pills.

How could I stop myself from bleeding so heavily?

a slight change in weight can cause this. Its a hormone and pheromone(thin i spelled that right) inbalance. But your gyno is the only one who can really help you in this situation because she knows your medical history and your weight etc...u need to eat healthy and drink lots of water.
hope this answers your questions.

Ok I answered your other question from yesterday, I still think it is something to do with the clomid and a reaction to it. If you want to slow the bleeding take Ibuprofen (200mg, 2 tabs at once, so you will have taken 400mg) it will stop the uterus from contracting and slow the blood loss. You can take up to 6 200mg Ibuprofen tabs in 24 hours so it you take them 6 hrs apart then you will get through to see your Gyno tomorrow and hopefully they can help you. I use the Ibuprofen when I have my period, it is very heavy and very painful (a super tampon every 2 hours maximum for the first 3 days) and the Ibuprofen makes it bearable and slows things down a lot usually. Try it and see if it works, Ibuprofen comes in Advil, nurofen, Act3 and probably goes by a few other names depending on where you live and what is available, but if you go to a pharmacy they can help you in your search.
Good luck

Aleve
If an adult (18 or over), you can take 2 to start
and 1 every 12 hours after that
TAKE NO OTHER PAIN RELIEVERS WITH -
No Aspirin, Tylenol, or Motrin - OK!!!!

It reduces bleeding somewhat.
(When trying to keep track of bleeding like this, pads work better than tampons. Always Ultra are pretty good. Longs for Daytime, Overnights for overnight. ALWAYS get the ones with Flexiwings - work better. It's better info for talking to a Dr. about it.)
If energy is a problem, you are losing a lot of blood and iron can be an issue. SLOWFE helps. Vitamin section. On the period you can take 1 every 12 hours.

Hey sweetie...remember you have PCOS and a big thing with that is irregular AF. Some women don't get them at all...like years with out them..some have cycles that last 40-70+ days...and sometimes some bleed for months at a time...your best bet is to wait for the dr or go to the ER. i know its not the answer u are looking for ...were u taking anything else besides clomid this cycles? are u charting can i see if so

Don't freak out, it happens. I had it due to stress where I went for a month and a half. I went and saw a doc and everything, and she said that I was fine. My sister had the same issue and they checked her out and she had a cyst on her ovary. Which hurts and can suck, but its really not a huge deal, most of the time. I fully recommend you see the doc, however, I really wouldn't worry yourself too much about it. Since I had my issue I have been perfectly fine and that was six months ago. I went back to having my normal period the very next month.

once, i had my period for an entire month. Had to go to the doctor and she said just wait it out. There is a shot, where it just ends ur period right there, but i dont suggest u using it because it disrupts ur mensteural cycle. I went to some chinese doctor and she gave me some yucky bitter, overpriced herbs to drink. it worked though
but since u cannot go to the doctor, dont eat any sweets, caffine, sour things, or cold drinks. these are the kinds of foods that can make ur period heavy. But if it doesnt work, just wait it for another day and see your dr.
gL!

i dont mean to scare you but that could be really serious! i would wait til tomorrow and try wearing three layers of pads tonight. if the cramps are really bad, take two motrin tablets every 5 hours. hopefully it is just genetics.
