My little sister wants to go to her "ex-boyfriends" house with her friend hannah for new years. My parents said nothing yet. What should they say, yes she can go or no she can not?? They asked my opinion and i told them i am not the parent, they are so they need to make the choice

Sure she can. Unless he's older and an ex-convict or something, which I don't think he is.

It's really up to your parents, but an "ex-boyfriend's" house sounds like trouble to me, parental supervision or not. Unfortunately, not all parents are what I would call responsible, but maybe that's just me.

Is she going to stay overnight? Is she going to come home at 2:00 AM with all the drunks out on the roads?

If I were your parents, I would try to organize a little party at home that you and your sister could invite your friends to. No alchohol, but plenty of soft drinks, eggnog, cocoa, whatever floats your boat. Play loud music, play games, whatever, you and your sister know what your friends like. Dad or Mom can give people rides home, or organize a sleepover if circumstances allow.

Mrs. Guy and I are throwing a small wingding for our grandchildren, while their parents are out partying. I worry about their parents, but I know the children will be safe.

No! Plain and simple, too young to have a boyfriend, too young to go out at night,to young too even think of going to a party with boys present even if the national guard was at the party it would still be NO!

Hmm well im 14 and what i want to know is why would she go to her "ex boyfriends" house for new years? I think she should spend it with her family rather than some "ex".

What do they plan on doing there anyways?

i see nothing wrong with it, just so long as they're in the same room with the parents... and the kids don't get their hands on that new years wine...

Well, if her friend is going to be there, i don't see why not. If they used to be boyfriend and girlfriend, then anything they will do at the party, chances are they have already done it.
