What does a spirit stick mean?
like i don't get the point of them and why they are so special?
someone told me that they are like a time capsule.
can someone explain it to me please?!?

We earn ours at camp. The staff decides what teams have worked the hardest, shown the most spirit, (or who need the most encouragement) and hand them out at assembly. Then the teams take them back to the dorm and decorate them with tissue paper, stickers, ribbons, etc. The next day we hand them in and the process starts all over again. On the last day of camp, whoever gets a stick gets to take it home with them.

basically its a foot long stick. haha it really fun to do and it is meant just to help get the cheerleaders pumped up before a game or competition. also just a little fun part of it is that it isnt supposed to ever touch the ground or else you will be cursed. i guess it is special because it kinda of represents the team.
