I think of karate and football. I was in karate, but I never had to where either as I'm sure you have figured out, so no I never had anything to do with a jockstrap or a cup.

When I hear the word jockstrap and cup, I think protective covering for some important organs. . .Well yes, in a roundabout way I have, My man has probably worn this protective gear and if it had not been for that, he probably wouldn't have been the great lover he is. They protected it every well, thank god. . . .

i think of a man having his penis and testies in a cup so nothing can hurt them, expecially his wife because they r getting a divorice and she's ready to nail him in the balls.

Athletes. Men wear them for protection when playing rough sports.

Football...my son played football in high school and those items were nessesary parts of his uniform....and I got the chore of laundering them......
...make a great slingshot, tho....if one had need of a slingshot really fast.....
