I have been in three all of which were caused by the other drivers mistake. The last one was a very bad accident at high speed when the other driver coming towards me lost control and went into the gravel which caused his car to spin out and come backwards down the road and slam into me. both cars were wiped out and I was hit right on the drivers side. The other drivers car was squashed down to half a car and if he had had a passenger they would be dead. He got a broken collarbone and I got a fractured sternum and a completely stuffed ankle. The ankle really pissed me off as I have done aerobics to a high level all my life and it took me 2 years to be able to get back to it and my ankle pains and swells even 4 years later.
The police said the guy would be charged with reckless driving but his rich daddy got a really good solicitor who got him off by telling him to say he had had a sneezing fit. I know this was not the case as as the scene I asked him what he was doing and nothing was meantioned about a sneezing fit and in fact the idiots answer was '120km '
It was my daughters 15th birthday so she had a wrecked day and the Australian governments TAC which pays out for road accidents wouldnt give me anything as my husband and i are in partnership in business and they stated that my partner had to take up the slack. Cost us about 25,000 in lost work time and a wrecked car that only got replacement cost back.

I was hit by a Land Rover as I crossed a road outside my house 2 weeks before my 15th birthday....I suppose I was lucky to get away with only a broken thigh bone and a few bruises!

Yes, a few. People like to hit me for some reason.

They were not my fault (for most of them I wasn't even moving; a couple stopped at a light, one stopped waiting to pull out from a parking lot to the main street, once parked in a shopping center parking space, and once in front of my house.)

first one when i was 12 and my pony bolted onto the road and we were hit head on by a car-lucky i was thrown over the car onto the pavement without serious injuries-
second one in Mallorca when i was going out with friends and the car aquaplaned-we smashed through shopfront and the car was buckled like a toy-i wasnt hurt at all and the worst injury between 5 of us was broken ribs-

Only one bad one. I was stopped at a red light, and a gasoline tanker lost his brakes, and broke my car in half. What saved me serious injury was that I was driving an old junker, and the seat ripped out of the floor board.

Me and my sistr wer leaving a football game and my sistr was driving my mom's beloved van. She was lyk in love wth it and my sistr was still in the parking lot and evrything, and all of a sudden, some dumb *** was speeding and ran right into the side of my mom's van. I got whiplash really bad (i still have it and its 2 months later), my sistr's bf jammed his finger, and my sistr hit her head on the glass (not hard so it didnt hurt her bad). And then we didnt even get the insurance to pay for my chiropractor cuz the mothrfuckr that ran into us lied and said that we ran out in front of them. We didnt, but if they wernt speeding they wulda had plenty of time to stop!
