When I look back on my younger years, I did think I knew Most Everything. I thought I had the World by the Handles. I married at the age of 17 and gave birth to my first child 15 months later. I felt so grown up and responsible when in truth I was actually still a child myself. My son had to grow up right along with me.

The Old believe everything, the middle aged suspect everything and the young know everything.

Good old Oscar.

What on earth do you mean, THINK?? As a qualified Pillock at Yahoo, I of course Knew, that I knew, and it didn't,t matter how many people said I was wrong. But ,as i aged and matured,a little common sense took over. After reading your question,it drives home, what an arrogant young So and So! I must have been. Hope i have changed,Regards:

I never thought I knew everything as a teen, There is too much growing and learning to do. I like the quote that you have listed here. There is another old saying "You learn something new every day."

I was around relatives who were much older. There was no need to feel that I knew everything. I certainly would have been
corrected and in a stern way, had I attempted to have that particular attitude.

Sure I did like most kids my age then. It is sort of a rite of passage. Now many years later I can say, Youth is wasted on the Young.

I thought I knew more than I did. Now that I'm way past teenager, I see how much I didn't know.

Yes even before I was a teenager I thought I knew it all. Now I realise how innocent and naive I was. Poor me.
