Well things that tend to "run their course usually involve human motivation. So by losing interest, we end them ourselves, and claim they "Ran their course", so one and the same!

I think that most situations can be ended when we choose them to be... although sometimes cant judge the best time to end them...when your close to a situation... you dont see the wood for the trees... thats when you need someone close to you to point this out to you...
