ballet you see alot more men doing ballet than knitting but don't not do something you want to do just because you don't think it is manly enough. Who cares what other people may think or say about you. As long as you are happy then what does it matter?

Does it matter do what ever you want. A lot of men my dad's age learnt to knit when they were in the Forces doing National Service so don't knock knitting. There are a lot of men who knit all over the world.
And the same for Ballet. If you want to have a go to it and take no notice of anyone who takes the mickey cause its very difficult to do.

My great uncle taught my grandmother to knit using two 4 inch nails and a ball of string. He was a butcher. Also, the lady at the wool shop was telling me about a male customer of hers who not only knits, but creates his own designs. He knits for everyone in his street.
So I guess I'll vote knitting, just because I know manly knitters and I've never met a male ballet dancer.

ballet and knitting are manly in thier own ways - like ballet u need strength and knitting u need some knowledge. All men like to think they are strong and smart.

ballet for sure. That is considered physical activity. Knitting is where you just sit around playing with wool

It would depend on what 'manly' means in this context.
However, if you just want a poll answer"
Ballet.
However, knitting has a history of being fairly common among sailors once upon a time (a time when sailors were all men).
Would love to know why your asking...
