General question on recalls?

I am purchasing a used car (not from a dealer). Is there any way to find out if repairs due to recalls have been accomplished in the past? Thanks

Go to any dealer that sells that brand of vehicle and ask the service department to run the VIN for outstanding recalls. They can do it for you at no charge and without a problem. Most likely you can do it over the phone!

best bet is to get a history report from vehix.com
