If you're the least bit handy they are easy to replace or take down, paint and reinstall.
First thing you do is turn the light on.
Then turn breakers off until the power is cut off to the lights.
All you should need is a screwdriver. Start unscrewing screws until they come loose. Before you disconnect the wires take a picture or draw a diagram of which wires hooks where. Now clean up and paint the old ones or replace with new ones. This is easy to do. It will take you longer to clean the old ones and for the paint to dry than it will swap lights out.

Hi i am an electrician and i dont see a problem with you re painting your flood light just make sure you use high temp paint because if it is a gasious discharg light of halogen flood they get rather hot when they operate like 300 degree.
However if you going to disconnect it to take it down to swap it over do so with extreme caution make sure you turn off lighting circuit and test to ensure it is dead and if it is not dead it might be on with your power circuit.if its a sensor it will have a permanant feed. be careful dont get zapped

Exterior fixtures are not too hard to replace if you know what you are doing. But if you don't have the confidence and knowledge to do this job right, call an electrician.

No problem if you do it safely. Make absolutely sure the power is off.

More electricians are injured form falls than from electrical accidents. Make sure you have a safe ladder on firm ground or an otherwise safe platform.

If you don’t have an adequate voltage tester use Michael C’s method. Be sure you ID the wires and diagram the connections.

I think it’s usually more cost effective to replace rather than fix or paint.
