Terrorism is an Ideology, not a country. Saddam's Iraq was secular and was not aligned with radical countries like Iran and Groups such as Al-Qaeda. Everyone often tries to connect the two but one response eliminates the other.
You say Saddam was a brutal tyrrant and dictator who was power hungry, but then you want us to believe that he would relinquish power to radical groups in his country that would lessen his power, like Al-Qaeda.
WHen we went into Iraq the Administration said we had to help the Poor Shiite from the Sunni's who were oppressing them. and help the Kurds. Saddam said they were terrorists.
Now what we have found is that the Shiite that we went in to save really are terrorists and more aligned with Iran and Al-Qaeda, so we started re-arming the Sunni's. The Kurds (PKK)have also been declared a terrorist organization by Bush and our allies in Turkey are now bombing them, just as Saddam did. The 187 Shiite that Saddam was executed for killing were 187 terrorist who tried to overthrow his government. This tells me Saddam was actually fighting the same terrorists that we are now.
Iran does however have Hezzbolah sleeper cells already in the US. A few years ago a group got caught buying cigarettes for low prices in North Carolina and transporting them for sale up north. They were busted and found out the money was being controled by Hezbollah and Iran. So how is the war in Iraq stopping that. How about close our borders and fund our police agencies, they are the ones who stop all acts of terrorism in the country not the war in iraq

If Bush lost the war the day he invaded, how come the figures show the situation getting consistently better?

Nope.
Actually Bush is Defeating the Insurgents, the Terrorists, and the Democrats.
We could have won sooner, if the Democrats hadn't joined the Insurgents and Terrorists to Defeat us.

Yes, I agree, and the sad part is that he could have easily won if he would have had any kind of a strategy at all, all he would have had to do was use satellite, pin point targets and bomb, there was NEVER any need for foot soldiers and I don't believe that he ever wanted to win, I think it was all about money, for him and his family members.

You sound like Dingy Harry! The war, contrary to your opinion, is far from lost. Even the liberal media admits this.
