of BLACK decent?
If you don't know, that's alright. Just study American History and Heritage. Even though Bill Clinton was said to be the first black President (in jest), who knows, in joking there could be some truth. But that would still make him the 5 or 6th.
Thank you ahead of time for your answers. Why is this not taught in the Public Schools?

The president’s names WHICH WERE BLACK AND OR mulatto were Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding, and Calvin Coolidge.
I find it fascinating that someone would not want to know this information or better yet why would one wan tot hide it.
All were considered mulatto and or melugeoun now these things would be researched like Obama's ancestors were where one reporter even tried to darken Obama's name identifying slave owners on Obama's white side to discourage voters...If this were important lets talk about W grandfather and who he did business in WWII with. When this was brought up it was a non issue.

It is not taught in public school because it is not important. Im not saying that to be rude but if they thought it was important, it would be taught.
btw...why are you asking this in p&s. Just saying because we dont really like to think about things too much around here. You would get more answers in another category. :p

why should this be taught in public schools? most everyone can be traced to someone of another race if you go back far enough.
