I own a 1995 Chevy corsica and the bright light switch doesn't work when i pull it forward to activate it. When I turn the switch on which is on my dashboard my dims come on, but when i try to turn my brights on nothing happens. Not even a clicking sound that you get when you pull the switch forward. Any Suggestions on what is wrong? and any anwsers to fix this problem will be much appreciated. Thanks

That switch is bad. You can't really fix them. You just have to replace them. It will be a dealer only part so it might set you back a few bucks.

the part you need is called a "multi-function" switch. it may or may not be a dealer part, i doubt it is. some of these switches are not difficult to replace. some just require a screwdriver, some require a screwdriver with "torx" tips (torx look like an asterisk or star) i would go ask a friendly service advisor at your local chevy store, if the mood hits them right they will help.

The switch inside your steering column is broken so you will probably need to get in there to replace it. Unless you have the proper tools to take your steering wheel off then I suggest going to a mechanic

Sounds like your high beam switch has gone bad. Let's face it, the car is 12 years old.
