The most common problem.
Stopped up drain line.
How to fix.
1. Look near the bottom of the blower unit. This unit is usually located in the garage or in a closet in the house. You should see a white plastic pipe that exits the bottom of the unit and travels to the outside of the house. (This is where the water runs out). Near the fan unit you should find a wire that enters a "T" on the plastic pipe. This is a float valve that shuts the fan unit down if the condensed moisture cannot escape. Unplug the valve at the top of the "T' and remove the float switch carefully. When you remove the float switch the float will travel down and the unit will restart. Pour a little bleach in the top of the "T" and the pipe will usually clear its self. Check where the pipe exits the house to see that the water can flow out. Replace the float valve. You should be OK now.

the thermostat on the wall could be dirty with lint or something open it and blow it out...or a breaker has triped on the unit or the box the unit is getting power from...most have a reset check your manual or look your unit up on-line and find the troubleshooting for it.
good luck
