Check to see what temps are coming in when you fill it for wash. Check hot, warm, and cold. Bet is you are not getting cold water (most washers these days only have cold rinse). No cold water will most likely be the water inlet valve has failed and will need to be replaced. Other options are the screen in the valve is dirty or clogged (less chance of that though).

make sure water is turned on and if it is your cold water line is probly cloged....unplug washer and in back remove the water hose from machine (you should do this to both lines) clean out the washer screen both in hose and in machine where hose connects use a wire brush or old toothbrush...you should notice a big difference in water pressure....they get clogged alot so its a good thing to do.
