A Texas Citizen being criminal prosecuted in a US unincorporated territory (US virgin Islands) where the judge and or jury are not guarnteed the same constitutional rights as citizens in US mainland.

being an American does NOT exempt you from obeying the laws of other countries. It does not guarantee you the same rights and privileges that you are afforded by the US Constitution.

If you went to another country, even a US Territory, and you break the law you're in deep do-do.

PS: If you're a Texan, you still have to obey the law. Texas is still part of America.

The Constitution applies to US territories including the US Virgin Islands. The Texan is guaranteed the same constitutional rights that he would have on the US mainland.

Territories still come under U.S. legal system since they are U.S. possessions. The Constitutional rights still apply.
Only difference would be if said person was military then said person will come under the U.C.M.J. or if said person commented the crime on a military base.
