i lived in Deutschland for SEVEN years. I loved germany. Beautiful place, friendly people, and almost everyone speaks english! Lots of fun festivals, oh and FASCHING! Fasching comes once a year on the 11th day of the 11th month... god they pass out beer and candy and pay techno super loud...so fun!

I haven't been there yet, but from what I know of Germany I have a lot of admiration for it. I also only know a few Germans, but I like them all (and love one of them - my fiance is from Lippstadt.)
I'll be able to answer this question better three days from now, though, when I'm there! ;)

I don't like them everytime someone says germany or germans I think hitler and nazi and what they did to the jews and other people like gays and blacks but getting to the point some germans deny the fact that the holocaust even happened and then the berlin wall I guess it's there history I don't like

i'm Canadian, i admire German people. I also have a german aunt and cousin. (and that i'm in love with a german guy). I additionally talk german, that's my typical language :D Echt Geil!! xD

My mom was born there and I still have lots of relatives over there. Have never been there , but I would love to visit some day.

good football players. good clubs. but everything else closes at 6..booorring.
Mr. History Buff....if you lived in Germany in 1939 or 1942, I doubt you would have known about the concentration camps - when Hitler was elected, it was only because the opposing candidate was the worst option - most people ignored Hitler's racist remarks because they never thought anything like what he did could have happened and especially in that magnitude. and once you've elected someone, it's hard to oppose him, especially if the consequence was death.
