Nope. The Saints' loss eliminated them no matter what the Redskins and/or Vikings do. It's now between those two for the final playoff spot.

The Saints will make it in 2008. Peyton needs to simply trash the "formula" playbook and have ALL his offensive players fully ready to catch the ball, KEEP THE BALL NO MATTER WHAT---and go hard for yardage.
That means, putting aside the mega-salaries, reputations and egos; keep ALL THAT at home. Bring to the field the hunger to WIN, and history will clearly note the rest.
It's the major weakness of any opponent's defensive line: they're NOT psychic. With more Saints receivers, Brees can keep the opposition guessing who gets the ball. In short, Brees can deliver the goods: EVERY team member has to prepare to receive the ball.
Catch the ball, KEEP THE BALL: play hard football---play SMART football. It's that simple.....but ever a challenge to EARN IT.
I hope THAT is the Saints gameplan for 2008.

they seem to be a million-5 on the line and play their next 2 in Chicago and Detroit. i think of the Bears will take them yet they must beat the Lions. That leaves them at 8-7 dealing with Carolina in New Orleans yet whether the win that game I doubt a 9-7 group will win the wild card.

no.... we would have had to have won, then the redskins and the vikings wouldve had to have lost
but since the saints already lost then it doesnt really matter what happens with the redskins and the vikings

Nope. The Saints had to win their game and hope that Washington and Minnesota lost but since the Saints lost it is moot.

no. they go home now. Better luck next year. I really didn't think they were ready for the playoffs to be honest. they had way too many starters out due to injury and were not going to be ready to play next week.
