if I buy somthing using iTunes on my iPod touch if I had money on my acount would the charge be taken out of the money on my acount or to my credit card

Right how it works on your ipod touch, when you first sync it with your pc or mac you will sign into your itunes account on the pc side, then when you sync the itunes account will be used on ur ipod touch.

So whatever account you sign in with on ur pc it will then be used on your ipod. Yes is the answer to your question. If you have credit still left on your account it will deduct from that first then from your credit card if there is a card registered to your account.
