NO WAY!!! I totally think the man and woman should divide the work in half. Dumping all the work on the woman is most likely stressing her out. I think it's wrong to do that kind of thing. For and married or about to be married man, NEVER, under any circumstances, dump the job of doing all the cooking/cleaning on the woman!

I think it depends on who has the time to do it. If the woman is filling the old traditional housewife roll while her husband is at work, then yes I think it's her job. If however, as in is most common these days, both husband and wife hold down full time jobs, then the household chores should be split. Otherwise it's the the woman has 2 full time jobs!

No, and I didn't raise my children that way.
My daughter cleans, her husband cooks ( they both work)
My oldest son helps with cleaning,,she is a gourmet cook..( they both work)
My youngest son cooks and cleans and works( he's single)
We are both retired and my husband runs the sweeper and does some dusting, I cook and do the wash...
It works for all of us this way..

Of course it is. This is what God created us to do. To be not only worshipful of HIM but worshipful of our husbands as well and to let our little boys go out and play whilst keeping the girls inside to learn the art of keeping a tidy home with always little home-made cookies in the jar and experiment with floral arrangements to create a lovely ambiance in the home and learn not to talk unless spoken to and to listen to what the man of the house dictates and to obey without question and to dress modestly when going out socially and to hang on to his every word. The only time a man should ever be seen cooking is tossing the odd sausage at a BBQ whilst the women are busy preparing the salads and getting drinks and laying tables for their menfolk. The world would be a better place if women got back to "knowing their place". A man needs a tidy, well run home, with 'Er indoors" barefoot in the kitchen cooking up a storm whilst trying to settle the children so they do not trouble their father who needs his quiet smoke and drinks before his pot roast is served up to him by his adoring little woman.
