hope that doesnt give you clues as to what area i live in.

For instance, what should my G.P.A be like? Do i really need extracurriculars? Should my S.A.T score be normal or above normal? Etc....

Yes, it clearly tells me you are in Pennsylvania. But I have to wonder why you are unwilling to get onto a website? Certainly you would get more accurate information there than you would here!

The three schools you have mentioned are all strong universities these days, and they accept about 58-60% of those who apply there, so getting in isn't a given. For all three, you pretty much have to be in the top half of your graduating class and have a GPA above 3.0 as an absolute minimum. Extracurriculars are considered in the admissions process, but aren't as critical as grades and scores, so don't think that you could make up for those with lots of activities. For all three, the range of the middle 50% of applicants they admitted was slightly above average - in the 530-630 range on most sections. Again, if your score was at 500, which is "normal" for all three sections, admissions would probably depend on your grades being higher than normal.

Use the collegeboard website, the site gives you information on admitted student's GPA and average SAT scores.

If you want to get in the schools you listed, extracurriculars help to distinguish yourself from other applicants and show that you are rounded person.
