how many celebrities get knocked up and claim to be engaged but never actually set a date or make any real wedding plans???isnt this just backwards???why should a man be able to give a child his name if he will not marry the mother????it does not change the facts that these children are illegitimate!!!! why say you are getting married when you clearly have no intention on following through???just because something is common does not make it right!!! what are your opinions on this matter????

it's b/c no one has any morals these days. it's fine to live in sin and shack up and have illegitmate kids and the only difference is they have the money to care for the kids unlike their poor counterparts. i agree people take these things lightly these days. it ok to commit fornication and adultery(jolie/pitt "family") and it's ok,but to get married please that's in the stone ages right. when you have alot of money your morals go out the window if you ask me. it's just trendy i guess. why bother announcing an engagement whe you've already announced to the world you're a fornicator.

It's not always the man who doesn't want to get married.
I think what probably happens is the woman gets pregnant and they really never had any intention to get married.....but since she's pregnant it sounds better to say they're engaged.

In my personal opinion I think some of it is about publicity other people are just like evryone else they g=have something and it doesn't work out and they break up we are talking about humans after all
