I hope so, I really like his views.

I was thinking the same thing, but his comments last week concerning Buhtto's assassination (our response should be to go after Pakistani Immigrants??) leaves me wondering a bit. One of his aids admitted Huckabee has no foreign policy experience. Honesty is great but as turbulant as things are on the International scene is honesty alone going to be enough??

Sincere? LOL,he cant even decide if he wants illegals here or not,Huckabee is misrepresenting his record on illegals. In Arkansas from 1996 to 2007, as Governor, he was very squishy on illegals. He called deportings illegals "unChristian and unAmerican". He was the keynote speaker at the radical illegal immigration lobby group LULAC, where he said that children of illegals should qualify for American college scholarships. Bush lied on this issue in 2000 and we fell for it. Here we go again.

It's not likely. Honesty is a detriment for a politician. Just look where it got James Traficant, and a host of others.
I would hope that honesty and sincerity would help, but just when you think it's OK, then Hillary and Obama and Edwards come along and foul up the whole trail.

There was a 2 week span, that I started to like him, and then that caused me to research him more. Now he's a few ticks above Hillary. I must admit, I fell for his polished charm, until I saw how insincere he was.
You actually met him? How many others did you meet? That is a really strange avatar lol!

Perhaps you could help him prevail. Post some his ideas and views here that separate him from others. Such as lowering/raising taxes, what about his view for an energy policy, his views on social issues such as gay marriage, abortion, gun control, what are his foreing policies...
Make sense?

with the media's help, he'll probably win Iowa with a thin, but comfortable margin......but he will fall flat on his face in New Hampshier without a doubt, NH isn't easily manipulated on religious retoric as Iowans are.....iowans are good people, and the media knows just how too get them to play ball.
But huckabee will disapear after NH.

He has a chance, but president Huckabee has a funny ring to it.

All indications are he will lose outside of the Bible Belt. Smart move by Giuliani will be to have him as VP

Probably not. His poll numbers are already diving. Once people got past the religious rhetoric, they've seen there's not much there, and he has no foreign policy experience..

I value his honesty but can't handle his views on Gays, AIDS, seeking gifts while governor, clemency and pardon problems.
I would only ask that you take a moment and watch John Edwards speak. He will make you a believer like hem made me a volunteer for his campaign.
