Okay so I suck at drawing characters, if I provide a good description can someone draw characters for me? or refer me to someone/where that can? I'd prefer someone with a little game background but anyone will do, so long as they can draw well.

Just cut and paste from what you can find on the web. If you have a 'prototype' ask someone to tidy it up. That is much more likely to turn out the way you want.

There's actually people that love to do this.
Go to some forums like Deviant Art and see if anyone will draw the char you like. Its hard to just find someone unless you know an artist personally.
