I fully understand! I worried constantly about what people said or thought of me. I was so self conscious. I was what people sometimes refer to as a "freak". My own family would make comments about how I dressed, my friends...blah blah blah. I did end up down the drug path. However I finally decided that I am who I am! I am comfortable with who I am. What you see is what you get. If people don't like it then F@%k them. As long as you are ok with who you are inside then it doesn't matter what anyone else in the whole world thinks. It is all in your perspective of you! I hope it helps.

I think you have to be who you want to be and do what makes YOU happy and that is probably the best way? Does that make sense? I think I was thinking of another question I just answered, sorry for taking some of this out, I am sure this can't possibly be the best answer, the best thing is to laugh as much as possible at yourself and ignore or put others in their place, or away from us, those that laugh at us I suppose, and be happy if we can be even if admitting that we are happy offends some people some times.

Learn to like yourself. The more you do, the less you care about whether others do or not.
