No, please we already pay them more than they deserve!

Buy a router and hook it into your comcast modem, then hook your computers to the router. The only issue is if you do not want to run wires then you might have to buy a wireless router and a wireless PC card for your other desktop and both computers will use the same Internet connection from comcast.

No need to pay comcast..

You can use Wireless/cable router to do that .

If you use a wireless router then you will need to install a wireless network card in computer upstairs.

If you use cable router - then you will need to run a CAT5 cable from down stairs to upstairs..

No, you just need a router. A router will split and manage the connection to any computers connected to it. You'll probably want to keep one computer wired to the router and put a wireless adapter and the PC downstairs. Just make sure the router you buy is a wireless router.

All you need is a router and you can either run a cable to it or get it with a wireless card and make your chioce a wireless Router and then you can hook up both for no extra money.

bypass p.c.. up a Broadband router at your community tech keep (or a huge field keep which includes acceptable purchase). no count if it rather is instant and you prefer to apply the instant tech on it, safeguard it and luxuriate in. or you're able to do some thing referred to as a "daisy chain" and rather confirm certainly one of the two computers have 2 community playing cards put in and characteristic one cable coming from the modem into it and yet another going from that computer to the different computer... little extra complicated and a tad bit extra decrease priced. i could bypass with the router although, it makes it possible for extra growth of your community down the line.
