Yes, but then the kids and I turned it into a game! We see a car coming and say, lets wave at them like we know them. We do, and it is so funny how the people look at us and wave with this crazy puzzled look. :)

I often wave at strangers when I'm passing in the car because I like to see that look of confusion as they wave back & then think "Who was that?".

Yes, I saw this guy waving to his girlfriend and I thought he was a guy who worked with my mom once (I'm sure it was- he just didn't remember me) and I thought he recognized me too so I grinned and waved..
He looked at me like I was crazy :(

OMG yes
one time i was walking into a store and a car stopped at the cross walk
i ran up to her window and started knocking on it
it was winter time so it was very cold out
she looked at me like "are you crazy" she honestly looked scared....it wasn't Lynn!!!!
she drove the same car and looked just like her!!!
i was so embarrassed, i wanted to die.

Yes, then you quickly look around hoping no one saw you, then you do the smooth hair fluff- and fix your clothes bit, so you look like you were maybe stretching or something! A very embarrasing moment indeed :)

yeah done that...cringe...also i was out one night with my ex and we were playing pool, i went to the ladies room and when i came back i gave my ex a cheeky squeeze on the bum while he was bent over the pool table only to realise that it was not him, it was a bloke wearing the same shirt as my ex...i almost died...we did see the funny side to it eventually but i wanted the ground to open up and swallow me...the shame of it...lol..
