well it would depend on if one or more adults in the family works, how old the kids are, what kind of expenses they have, how much the adults make and other assorted questions.

One person working 30 hours a week at Mickey D's: not so much.

Dad has a full time well paying Job and Mom has a part time job when the kids are in school: probably, as long as they don't live above their means.

Utah job growth is booming, and in most cases, the employers are struggling to find enough workers. Housing prices aren't bad, especially outside of the Salt Lake Valley. There are pleanty of doctors and hospitals. In fact they just built a ginat new hospital facility in Murray, utah. I don't know what a forklift operator makes in Utah, but I would have to guess that it is at the very least equal to what you make now, but will probably be more. Utah is very family oriented, and you will find everyone to be quite friendly. Not everyone here is Mormon, only about 50% of the population, including myself. The school system in Utah is great, even if the teachers don't get paid enough. Drop out rates are low, and test scores are very high. The weather is in the 90's in the summer, and the 20's in the winter, with fall and spring in the 70's. There is a lot of snow in the winter, but the majority falls in the mountains.

Good luck in your move!
